Mr Lebur Rohman is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee surgery. With almost two decades of medical experience, he has developed extensive expertise in treating sports injuries, arthritis and complex joint conditions.
His areas of specialist interest include sports knee injuries, knee arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, cartilage restoration, partial and total knee replacement, hip replacement and complex revision surgery. He also has expertise in robotic-assisted joint replacement, including Mako robotic surgery.
Mr Rohman provides personalised care for patients aged 14 and over, taking the time to understand their symptoms, lifestyle and treatment goals. His patient-centred approach is focused on helping people regain mobility and return to the activities they enjoy.
Background & Experience
Mr Rohman has extensive experience in trauma and orthopaedic surgery, supported by advanced fellowship training at leading centres including the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham and Liverpool.
His specialist experience includes treating professional athletes across sports including football, rugby and sailing, helping patients recover from complex sports injuries and return to their chosen activities.
He has particular expertise in modern hip and knee replacement techniques, including robotic-assisted surgery and Mako robotic technology. His practice also encompasses knee preservation and cartilage repair, offering treatment options for younger patients and those seeking to preserve their natural joint where appropriate.
Mr Rohman’s contribution to orthopaedic services extends beyond his clinical practice. His work supporting elective recovery at Trafford Hospital Surgical Hub was recognised by the Manchester Evening News in September 2024.
