About Mr Shetty
Mr Shilpith Shetty is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee surgery, with expertise in minimally invasive techniques, arthroscopic surgery, sports injuries and robotic assisted hip and knee surgery. He qualified in 1993 and trained in orthopaedics across a number of specialist centres, including Liverpool, the Royal London Hospital, the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore and the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham. He is an NHS consultant at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester.

Recognition & Memberships
Recognised as a pioneering surgeon in the region for robotic hip and knee surgery, Mr Shetty is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and a Council Member of the Orthopaedic Section of the Royal Society of Medicine. He was awarded his MCh degree by the University of Liverpool for his research on PCR analysis of synovial fluid from failed joint replacements, and remains dedicated to training future orthopaedic surgeons.
